Brightkit has been acquired by Hootsuite

Today, we are pleased to announce that Brightkit has agreed to be acquired by Hootsuite, the world’s most popular Social Relationship Platform. When we founded Brightkit, we knew that conventional digital advertising was at a turning point.  Social media holds enormous opportunity for brands to engage with customers and discover new opportunities.

Brightkit’s social campaign solution has been integrated as a part of Hootsuite’s ecosystem since January, 2013. We’re excited to deepen our partnership and join a company whose platform has been deployed across 10+ million users and 744 of the Fortune 1000.  In this acquisition, we are combining our technology and team with Hootsuite’s leading analytics and engagement platform.

As our companies come together, Brightkit customers will see exciting opportunities for expanded service and functionality.We are also excited to announce that the Brightkit brand will be transitioning to Hootsuite Campaigns.
